#taranstravels | Majorca, Balearic Islands

EVENTFUL is the only want to describe this trip!

This is my first solo trip for the year and it’s been due for a long time. I started this year without any breaks and went straight into 2019 hands on meaning, I had no time to myself or barely any sanity when it approached the middle of the year. This is when I decided - THAT'S IT I NEED A BREAK!

Self care and self love is so important, if you’re working hard every day and haven’t given yourself the time to unwind and relax you’ll definitely feel the pressure building on top of you. I cannot stress how important it is to have a work life balance and occasionally just some time to yourself!

I booked this trip two weeks prior to my departure date, it was so last minute and spontaneous. I just knew I wanted to go abroad so I booked a week off work and found a holiday which fell into that time period. I went through a phase where I couldn't find any holidays which were reasonably priced for the time I had booked off so I genuinely thought I'm not going to be able to get away. Luckily for me, I was super determined and wasn't prepared to take no for an answer, so I eventually found a deal for Majorca!!

I was pretty pleased with my find as Majorca is one of the first places I discovered in a holiday brochure when I was younger, it was a place I had always wanted to visit from a young age.

The entire holiday was focused all about relaxation. The ambiance of the place and weather literally just screamed ‘don’t stress or think about anything but yourself’. Everyday, I spent time laying on the soft sand on the beach reading a book (The Girl on the Train - what an amazing read!) and if I wasn’t on the beach, I was taking a little dip in the crystal clear, warm sea water. It was blissfull.

I had decided to film my trip to get myself back into the vlogging mindset as I had been out of it for a few months. It was a little awkward and strange at first, but I soon got used to it and felt like myself again. The entire time I was in Majorca, the weather was amazing (around 30 degrees if not more).

I'm not going to disclose too much about my trip in this post as I filmed the holiday for you guys to watch, so when you do watch it, you'll find out what I got up to and why my trip was EVENTFUL as I mentioned at the start of this post.

Here's the VLOG:

I hope you enjoyed watching the VLOG!

I'll see you on my next trip!

Love,

Taran x
